The information system in investigations of the laser signature phenomenon

Abstract

The information system is created to control the servomechanism used for CO2 laser tuning. It is shown, how the data base is constructed as the consequence of the laser tuning monitoring. The base is used for constructing the model of the laser signature phenomenon. It is presented, how to use the signature as a standard for calibration of the servomechanism. The self-calibrating system is used for continuous investigations of the laser signatures. The automation process is applied to control the system. It is shown, that it is possible to built an expert system, which allows spreading a presented method to different laser media. Some applications are suggested.
