Fresnel Similarity

Abstract

The Fresnel Similarity SIGMA is defined as the correlation of a diffracting object and the blurred wave front as a distance Z behind it. SIGMA my serve to analise and to synthesise the light distribution in 3D. It obeys the wave equation , shows diffraction, interference, self-imaging and evanescent waves.
