Abstract

A cemented doublet is a frequently used optical element, which is composed of two lenses cemented together where the second radius of curvature of the first lens and the first radius of curvature of the second lens is identical. In practice it is often needed to analyze the geometrical and optical parameters of the doublet in a non-destructive way. We analyze a method for determination of inner parameters of the doublet and the influence of individual measured input parameters on uncertainties in calculated geometrical and optical parameters of the doublet.
