Aberration retrieval from a single-out-of focus intensity measurement

Abstract
Phase aberrations in an optical system can be evaluated using a phase-retrieval procedure by taking several through-focus intensity measurements. In this work we investigate the potential to obtain the phase information by one single intensity measurement to perform a fast and robust retrieval.
